Our food pantry is currently in a drive-thru system and open on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9 am to 11:30 am.
The Mission has provided food to families since 1972. A few years ago we upgraded our food program to a client-choice model, which allows the families we serve to choose the items they want or need the most, allowing them their dignity in a tough situation.
With support from grants and the partnership with the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, we became the first Food Resource Center in Oklahoma. Our partnership with Walmart allows us to offer fresh produce and frozen meat to our clients, and allows us to cut waste in our community. We also offer canned and frozen foods, as well as hygiene items in a friendly, non-judgmental atmosphere. This system allows us to provide about two weeks worth of food for each family.
